ABOUT ME

A proud Portland, OR based generalist with 17 years of diverse apparel industry experience. Currently working in Apparel Operations Management | Catalyst Apparel at Nike.

A true chameleon by trade, I easily adapt to changing environments and situation. I’ve had the privilege over my career to work in multiple disciplines in the apparel industry. In my first role after school I was able to gain a professional certificate as a color specialist. I’ve launched 2 full brands within larger companies (Hill City w/Gap inc. and RH Teen w/restoration hardware) along with ground-up development for high-profile collaborations and projects (Fanatics and Telfar x Ugg).

As a designer at heart, combined with my love for environmental practices and sustainability, I enjoy tackling the challenges of creating new products with a goal of leaving little to no environmental footprint.

My love for yoga, hiking, skiing and running inspire me, keeping me focused on my mission and belief that quality is better than quantity.

The Unknown Monk

“When I was a young man, I wanted to change the world.
I found it was difficult to change the world, so I tried to change my nation.
When I found I couldn’t change the nation, I began to focus on my town. I couldn’t change the town and as an older man, I tried to change my family.

Now, as an old man, I realize the only thing I can change is myself, and suddenly I realize that if long ago I had changed myself, I could have made an impact on my family. My family and I could have made an impact on our town. Their impact could have changed the nation and I could indeed have changed the world.”
